Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Buyer to join a growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong vendor relationships, buying experience in an online retail or wholesale environment, and a sharp eye for identifying in-demand products and profitable opportunities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and confident negotiating with vendors while managing product flow, pricing strategy, and inventory growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can bring in high-quality products at scale and help support continued business success.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain new and existing vendor relationships to ensure a steady flow of inventory

  • Prepare, send, and follow up on purchase orders and bid requests to vendors

  • Research trending products in new and existing categories and assess their market value

  • Help develop pricing strategy based on profit margins, competitive pricing, and demand

  • Track shipment delivery schedules with vendors and shippers

  • Analyze price proposals, sales reports, inventory reports, and market research to evaluate product performance

  • Request return authorizations from vendors and follow up to ensure proper credits are received

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support inventory planning and purchasing decisions

Requirements

  • Preexisting relationships with vendors capable of supplying large volumes of SKUs is required

  • 2-5 years of experience in a buying role

  • Experience in an online retail or wholesale environment required

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with vendors

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to support healthy profit margins

  • Ability to research and identify emerging products and assess their value

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work collaboratively while managing responsibilities independently
