Position Overview

A new e-commerce operation backed by an established product company is seeking an experienced Marketplace Operations & Catalog Manager to help build, organize, and manage its growing marketplace business.

This is a hands-on role with ownership of an existing catalog containing several hundred SKUs, while also supporting new product launches and expansion across online sales channels.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Amazon Seller Central and e-commerce catalog management and is comfortable taking ownership of product data, listings, inventory monitoring, marketplace issues, and day-to-day catalog operations.

Key Responsibilities Marketplace & Catalog Management
  • Manage and optimize product listings within Amazon Seller Central and other online marketplaces.
  • Take ownership of an existing catalog of several hundred SKUs.
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate product listings.
  • Clean up and organize product data, attributes, descriptions, images, and other listing information.
  • Manage and troubleshoot parent/child variations and product relationships.
  • Identify and resolve listing errors, suppressed listings, missing information, and other catalog issues.
  • Maintain consistent and accurate product information across marketplace channels.
  • Monitor marketplace performance and identify opportunities to improve listings and overall catalog quality.
Sellercloud & Product Data
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing management of the Sellercloud catalog.
  • Organize and maintain product information within Sellercloud and connected marketplace systems.
  • Ensure SKU, inventory, listing, and product data remain accurate across platforms.
  • Help establish efficient processes for managing a growing multichannel catalog.
  • Troubleshoot catalog and data synchronization issues as needed.
Inventory & Marketplace Operations
  • Monitor inventory levels and product availability across marketplaces.
  • Track orders and identify operational or listing-related issues.
  • Help prevent overselling, stock discrepancies, and inaccurate marketplace information.
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding inventory, product information, and marketplace needs.
  • Maintain organized records and reporting related to marketplace activity.
Product Launches
  • Coordinate the marketplace setup for new product launches.
  • Ensure new SKUs are properly created and organized before launch.
  • Manage product images, attributes, variations, and listing content.
  • Coordinate ongoing catalog updates as products and marketplace requirements change.
  • Help establish scalable processes as the number of products and sales channels grows.
Qualifications
  • Strong Amazon Seller Central experience required.
  • Previous e-commerce catalog management experience required.
  • Experience managing a catalog with a significant number of SKUs.
  • Strong understanding of product listings, variations, attributes, images, and marketplace data.
  • Experience troubleshooting Amazon listing and catalog issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple products, updates, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of marketplace operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Sellercloud or comparable multichannel e-commerce software is a plus.
  • Experience supporting new product launches is preferred.
