Vice President of Sales

A leading apparel company is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Sales to lead strategic sales initiatives and oversee relationships with major national retail accounts. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing key partnerships with some of the country's largest retailers.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience selling underwear, intimates, or sleepwear into mass-market and club retailers and possesses a proven track record of growing major national accounts. Walmart experience is required.

• Lead the company's national sales strategy with a focus on mass-market and club retail accounts.
• Manage and grow relationships with key accounts including Walmart, Target, Costco, and other major national retailers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution across existing and prospective retail partners.
• Develop and execute annual sales plans, forecasts, and revenue growth strategies.
• Negotiate pricing, promotional programs, contracts, and assortment strategies with major retail buyers.
• Collaborate with merchandising, product development, sourcing, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team while establishing performance goals and accountability.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
• Provide executive leadership with regular reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

• Walmart sales experience is required.
• Proven executive-level sales leadership experience within the underwear, intimates, sleepwear, or apparel industry.
• Demonstrated success managing major retail accounts, including Walmart, Costco, Target, and other national retailers.
• Strong understanding of the mass retail and club channel business.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute high-impact sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
• Strong leadership and team development experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
• Results-driven, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
