We are seeking a dynamic and highly capable Division Managers to lead our team and manage our divisions from start to finish. This is a critical leadership role that requires a unique blend of strategic vision, hands on management, and outstanding operational execution. Most importantly, the ideal candidate must possess strong reporting skills, a proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team, and the capability to fully oversee all divisional activities to drive growth across all product categories.
Key Responsibilities:Division Leadership & Management: Oversee the division from start to finish, establishing structure, defining clear goals, and leading a high performance sales team.
Strong Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using our CRM system. Provide comprehensive, data driven reports on sales performance, forecasting, and market feedback to executive leadership.
New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire new off price retail accounts within a defined territory or market segment.
Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long lasting relationships with existing off price customers, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross selling.
Customer Engagement & Travel: Actively get out and visit customers on a regular basis, conducting in person sales presentations, NYC showroom visits, and relationship building meetings.
Product Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our extensive product catalog (housewares, bed and bath, kitchen, pet, travel, and laundry items) to effectively present features and benefits to clients.
Sales Presentations: Conduct engaging and persuasive sales presentations to potential and existing clients, both in person and virtually.
Order Management: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and follow up.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the off price retail sector to identify new product opportunities and market demands.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service to ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Proven track record of success in wholesale sales, B2B sales, or retail sales, with explicit experience selling to off price retailers or within the consumer products industry.
Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team and manage divisional operations from inception to completion.
Advanced reporting and analytical skills, with a high proficiency in tracking metrics, managing sales pipelines, and forecasting.
Strong understanding of sales principles, customer service practices, and contract negotiation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse retail partners.
Self motivated, goal oriented, and able to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability and willingness to travel regularly (business related travel expenses will be covered).
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
