We are a premier energy procurement firm focused on providing strategic solutions to commercial clientele. We are looking for a dedicated Sales Assistant to join our Eatontown office. This is a versatile role that is perfect for a candidate who enjoys providing high level support in a "static" assistant capacity, or for an ambitious individual who wants to learn the ropes and eventually transition into a full cycle Salesperson role. The ideal candidate is a master of organization who understands that the "fortune is in the follow up." If you are a strong communicator with a sharp eye for detail and a desire to work in the fast paced energy sector, we would like to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the sales team by managing administrative tasks and coordinating commercial client outreach.

  • Execute consistent and professional follow up with prospective and existing clients to ensure project momentum.

  • Prepare and organize client documentation, proposals, and contracts using Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Manage high volume email correspondence and scheduling through Outlook with speed and accuracy.

  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail when entering client data and reviewing energy usage reports.

  • Assist in researching market trends and commercial energy opportunities to support sales growth.

  • Provide a professional first point of contact for clients, answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate team members.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.

  • Absolute requirement for strong follow up skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all administrative tasks.

  • Ability to work effectively in either a long term support role or as a trainee for a sales career path.

  • Strong organizational habits and the ability to work independently in a busy office environment.

  • Prior experience in a sales support or administrative role is preferred but not required.
