Description
A school is seeking a School Psychologist to support students in grades 1 through 5. This role focuses on addressing students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs through counseling, assessment, and collaboration with staff and families. The position may be part-time or full-time and is ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative school environment.

What You’ll Do
• Collaborate with the Student Support Team to address students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs
• Provide short-term individual counseling for students with social-emotional and executive functioning challenges
• Lead small groups focused on skill-building and coping strategies
• Administer psycho-educational evaluations and interpret results for academic planning and admissions support
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and outside providers to develop and implement intervention plans
• Create and implement Behavioral Intervention Plans
• Provide crisis intervention and school-wide support as needed
• Design and implement social-emotional learning curriculum and programming
• Facilitate parent and teacher trainings and workshops

Requirements
• PhD or PsyD in School Psychology, or LCSW preferred
• Experience with teacher consultation, psychological evaluations, and behavior planning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
