Assistant

Interior Designer in Allenhurst, NJ seeking a detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant. 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to support our lead designer in various aspects of the design process. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and creative environment.

Part time  3-4 days week. 
9:30-5:00 
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Support: Assist in developing design concepts and presentations, including space planning, color schemes, and material selections.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Sourcing and Procurement: Research and source furniture, fabrics, lighting, and accessories that align with project aesthetics and budget.
• Administrative Tasks: Manage project documentation, schedules, and client communications to ensure seamless project execution.
• Site Visits: Participate in site measurements, installations, and styling to ensure design integrity and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or completed coursework in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Prior experience or internships in interior design preferred.
