Position Overview

A growing jewelry and live-commerce business in New York City is seeking a reliable and organized Off-Camera Livestream Operator to support the behind-the-scenes operations of live selling shows.

This position is ideal for someone who prefers working behind the scenes and is comfortable with technology, computers, merchandise organization, and fast-paced e-commerce operations.

The right candidate does not need extensive livestreaming experience. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable learning new technology, and eager to develop their skills within the growing live-commerce industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the computer and technical operations during livestream shows.
• Support the host throughout live selling sessions.
• Organize and prepare jewelry and merchandise before each livestream.
• Keep products organized and readily available throughout live shows.
• Help coordinate the order in which products are presented.
• Monitor the livestream platform and assist with behind-the-scenes functionality.
• Enter, update, and manage product information as needed.
• Help ensure livestreams run smoothly and efficiently from an operational standpoint.
• Coordinate merchandise before, during, and after each show.
• Assist with inventory and product organization.
• Troubleshoot basic technical or operational issues during livestreams.
• Communicate closely with hosts and other team members during live shows.
• Assist with preparation and breakdown of the livestream setup.
• Support additional e-commerce and live-commerce responsibilities as needed.
• Take on increased responsibilities as experience and familiarity with the operation grow.

• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay focused and organized while working under time-sensitive conditions.
• Interest in e-commerce, livestreaming, jewelry, fashion, technology, or social media is a plus.
• Previous experience with livestreaming platforms, e-commerce, inventory, retail, or technology is helpful but not required.
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems and processes.
