Position Overview

A growing premium fashion brand in New York, NY is seeking a creative and motivated Content Creation Intern to support its marketing and content team.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fashion, social media, and visual storytelling and wants hands-on experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, Reels, Stories, and paid social campaigns. The intern will work closely with the marketing team to help develop, shoot, edit, and organize content that feels authentic to each platform and aligned with the brand’s overall aesthetic.

The ideal candidate understands social media culture, has a strong eye for trends, and knows what makes content engaging enough to stop someone from scrolling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Film, edit, and help publish short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and other social platforms.
  • Create content featuring products, styling, behind-the-scenes moments, and the overall brand experience.
  • Support the development of paid social advertising creative.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on content concepts, scripts, and campaign ideas.
  • Monitor emerging social media trends, sounds, formats, and cultural moments.
  • Pitch timely and relevant content ideas based on current platform trends.
  • Assist with photo and video shoots, including styling, lighting, setup, and production support.
  • Help prepare products, props, and other materials for content shoots.
  • Maintain and update the social media content calendar.
  • Organize raw footage, edited content, photos, and other digital assets.
  • Help maintain an organized content library for future campaigns.
  • Track content performance and engagement.
  • Review performance data to identify which content formats and ideas resonate most with audiences.
  • Apply performance insights to future content concepts and creative direction.
  • Assist with additional marketing and content projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Genuine passion for fashion, style, social media, and digital content.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Reels, Stories, and current social media culture.
  • Comfortable working both in front of and behind the camera.
  • Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.
  • Strong visual eye for composition, styling, storytelling, and current trends.
  • Creative and comfortable contributing new ideas.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Available to work from the New York City office a minimum of three days per week.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a marketing, film, communications, fashion, media, or related program preferred.
  • Candidates with equivalent relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
  • Existing content portfolio, reel, or personal TikTok/Instagram presence.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Basic photography skills.
  • Familiarity with lighting and content production equipment.
  • Experience creating fashion, lifestyle, or product-focused content.
  • Understanding of paid social advertising specifications and creative requirements.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and content performance metrics.
