Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:15 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–1:15 PM
Compensation: Based on Experience

Position Overview

A family in the Marine Park area of Brooklyn is seeking a loving, reliable, and experienced Babysitter / Nanny to provide attentive care for a newborn.

The ideal candidate is nurturing, dependable, patient, and experienced with newborns. This position will focus primarily on providing a safe and caring environment for the baby while maintaining feeding, sleep, and daily routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving, and safe care for the newborn throughout the day.
• Handle feeding, burping, and diaper changes.
• Follow and maintain the baby's established daily routine.
• Prepare bottles and properly clean and organize feeding supplies.
• Follow and maintain appropriate nap and sleep routines.
• Engage the baby in age-appropriate developmental activities, including tummy time, reading, and sensory play.
• Keep the baby's areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Wash and organize bottles, baby clothes, and other baby-related items as needed.
• Monitor the baby's comfort and well-being throughout the day.
• Communicate regularly with the family regarding feeding, naps, activities, and the baby's overall day.
• Promptly communicate any questions or concerns to the family.

Qualifications

• Previous newborn or infant childcare experience strongly preferred.
• Loving, nurturing, and patient approach to childcare.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Comfortable with bottle preparation, feeding, diapering, and newborn routines.
• Understanding of age-appropriate newborn activities and developmental needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Organized and attentive to detail.
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the baby.
• Comfortable working in person in Marine Park, Brooklyn.
