Full-Time Driver & Senior Program Assistant

Schedule: Sunday through Friday
Hours: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, with shorter hours on Friday
Compensation: Hourly, paid via Zelle, plus reimbursement for gas used for program transportation. The worker is responsible for handling their own taxes.

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, patient, and caring individual to serve as a full-time Driver and Program Assistant for a senior activity program.

This is a hands-on position that combines driving seniors to and from activities with transporting, loading, unloading, and setting up program equipment. The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys working with seniors, is comfortable helping wherever needed, and owns a large SUV or van suitable for transporting passengers and supplies.

Responsibilities

Safely transport seniors to and from scheduled programs and activities
Transport equipment and supplies, including toys, activity tables, and program materials
Load and unload equipment from the vehicle
Assist with setting up and breaking down activity spaces
Provide patient, friendly, and respectful assistance to senior participants
Maintain a dependable schedule and arrive on time for all pickups and programs
Keep the vehicle clean, safe, and suitable for passenger transportation
Assist with additional program-related tasks as needed

Requirements

Full-time availability from Sunday through Friday
Availability from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, with shorter Friday hours
Must own and have regular access to a large SUV or van
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Comfortable lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading equipment
Patient, caring, and personable
Must genuinely enjoy working with seniors
Reliable, punctual, responsible, and willing to help
Comfortable performing both driving and hands-on physical work
