We are a growing e-commerce and wholesale custom apparel company looking for a versatile Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to serve as the backbone of our New Jersey office. This is a critical dual-function role where you will manage the essential financial records of our business while providing high-level administrative support to ensure our daily operations run like a well-oiled machine. From balancing the books in QuickBooks to executing timely lead follow-up, you will be a key player in our success. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all basic accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions with high accuracy.

  • Execute daily bookkeeping tasks within QuickBooks, ensuring all records are up to date and categorized correctly.

  • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including managing office supplies, handling correspondence, and organizing files.

  • Perform proactive lead follow-up to support the wholesale sales team and maintain client momentum.

  • Process invoices and reconcile bank statements to ensure financial integrity.

  • Assist with general office work such as data entry, scheduling, and answering phone inquiries.

  • Support the e-commerce team with administrative tasks related to order processing and vendor coordination.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a bookkeeping or administrative assistant role, preferably within the wholesale or e-commerce sector.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a strict requirement for this position.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accurate data entry.

  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills to maintain professional relationships with leads and vendors.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy, in-person office setting.

  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
