Children's Home and Family Services is seeking a friendly, organized, and self-motivated Human Resources Secretary to support the HR department. This role plays a key part in staff onboarding and provides essential administrative support in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate and facilitate a smooth, welcoming onboarding process for new hires
Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and in compliance prior to start dates
Schedule appointments for document review, fingerprinting, and background clearances
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems and physical personnel files
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the HR team as needed
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
High attention to detail and professionalism when working with staff
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and learning new software systems
Prior HR or administrative experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
$19.00–$20.00 per hour
