Position Overview

A Brooklyn-based jewelry company is seeking an energetic, personable, and sales-driven Live Sales Representative to sell jewelry through Whatnot, TikTok Shop, and other live-selling platforms.

This is a highly interactive, on-camera sales position for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, presenting products, and closing sales. The ideal candidate is confident, enthusiastic, comfortable speaking live on camera, and able to create an engaging shopping experience that converts viewers into customers.

The position will begin with base pay during training while the candidate learns the jewelry collection, selling techniques, and live-commerce platforms. As experience and sales performance grow, there will be an opportunity to transition to a commission-based compensation structure with increased earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Host engaging, entertaining, and sales-focused live streams on Whatnot, TikTok Shop, and other relevant platforms.
  • Present and demonstrate jewelry in an appealing, informative, and enthusiastic manner.
  • Learn the company's jewelry collection, including materials, styles, pricing, product features, and key selling points.
  • Engage directly with viewers during live broadcasts.
  • Answer product questions and respond to comments in real time.
  • Build excitement around products and confidently guide viewers toward purchases.
  • Develop relationships with repeat viewers and customers.
  • Help build and maintain a loyal online following.
  • Work with the team to select products, promotions, special offers, and themes for upcoming live streams.
  • Stay current on jewelry, social media, e-commerce, and live-shopping trends.
  • Review sales and audience engagement to identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Assist with organizing and preparing merchandise before live broadcasts.
  • Maintain a professional, energetic, and engaging on-camera presence.
Qualifications
  • Strong sales ability and genuine enthusiasm for interacting with customers.
  • Confident and comfortable speaking and selling on camera.
  • Energetic, personable, outgoing, and engaging communication style.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain enthusiasm and audience engagement throughout a live broadcast.
  • Interest in jewelry, fashion, e-commerce, and current trends.
  • Comfortable learning detailed product information and communicating it clearly to customers.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented.
  • Comfortable working in person in Brooklyn.
  • Experience in jewelry sales, retail sales, e-commerce, social media, or live streaming is a plus.
  • Experience with Whatnot, TikTok Shop, or another live-selling platform is strongly preferred but not required.
