This individual will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the financial records, ensuring that all transactions are captured accurately and that the general ledger remains perfectly balanced. Key Responsibilities:Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring all invoices and payments are processed on time.
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
Execute bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to organize financial data, create spreadsheets, and assist with basic financial reporting.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and end of year documentation.
Maintain an organized filing system for all financial records, contracts, and receipts.
Collaborate with the management team to identify and resolve any accounting discrepancies.
Proven experience in general accounting, specifically within an eCommerce or retail setting.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables and complex formulas.
Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and general ledger management.
High level of organizational skill and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Prior experience using accounting software (such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero) is highly preferred.
