Description
A company is seeking a detail-oriented Import Purchasing Assistant to support procurement and supply chain operations. This role involves coordinating with multiple departments, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring inventory levels are maintained efficiently.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

What You’ll Do
• Coordinate with internal departments to assess and fulfill supply needs
• Place purchase orders and follow up on delays or issues
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Evaluate vendor pricing and quality to determine best sourcing options
• Conduct research to identify new suppliers as needed
• Assist with vendor contracts and procurement documentation

Requirements
• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related role preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of supply chain processes is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
