Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to transport paper goods to customers using a company-provided van. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to providing excellent customer service while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company van to deliver paper goods to customers throughout the assigned delivery area.
- Load, unload, and transport boxes of paper products in a safe and efficient manner.
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy before departure and upon delivery.
- Maintain delivery schedules and complete routes in a timely manner.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries.
- Inspect the company vehicle regularly and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proof of delivery when required.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse or delivery-related duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes of paper goods throughout the workday.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to safely operate a cargo van and follow delivery routes.
