Position Overview
A school-based program in Brooklyn, NY is seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessionals to provide individualized support to students and work alongside a team of educational and therapeutic professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or classroom-based support to students.
Assist students with academic activities and daily classroom routines.
Reinforce skills and strategies established by teachers and therapists.
Encourage student participation, independence, and positive behavior.
Help students remain engaged and focused during classroom activities.
Support students with transitions and other school-day activities.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, supervisors, and other educational professionals.
Observe student progress and communicate relevant information to the appropriate team members.
Complete required session notes and documentation accurately and on time.
Utilize the provided user-friendly platform for billing and session-note documentation.
Maintain a supportive, professional, and positive environment for students.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
Patient, compassionate, responsible, and dependable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and supervisors.
Comfortable providing individualized support to students.
Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation requirements.
Commitment to helping students develop greater confidence and independence.
