Position Overview
A luxury design studio in Monmouth County, NJ is seeking a highly organized, creative, and dependable Studio Assistant to support the founder with day-to-day studio operations, client projects, content creation, and administrative responsibilities.
This position will begin part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as the studio and responsibilities grow. The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term opportunity where they can take on increasing responsibility and grow alongside the business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and organize samples, materials, and client assets for branding and interior design projects.
Track project phases, deadlines, deliverables, and outstanding items across multiple active clients.
Maintain calendars, appointments, meetings, and project schedules.
Assist with day-to-day studio organization and workflow.
Capture photos and videos during on-site projects, installations, meetings, and studio activities.
Assist with gathering and creating visual content for social media.
Organize digital files, project materials, samples, and client documentation.
Maintain organized vendor information and assist with vendor communications.
Communicate professionally with clients regarding scheduling, project details, and general requests.
Follow up on outstanding project items to keep timelines moving forward.
Assist the founder with administrative and operational responsibilities.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client, project, and business information.
Help ensure the studio remains organized, efficient, and client-ready.
Take on additional responsibilities as the role develops and potentially transitions to full-time.
Qualifications
Proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable learning and adapting to new software quickly.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable capturing photos and videos for social media and project documentation.
Professional and polished when communicating with clients and vendors.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential client information.
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
Flexible availability during daytime hours.
Must be local to Monmouth County, NJ.
Previous experience in design, interiors, branding, social media, administration, or a creative studio environment is a plus.
