Collections Representative

The Collections Representative plays a key role in managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. This position is responsible for resolving billing issues, maintaining positive customer relationships, and supporting the overall accounts receivable process.
Responsibilities
- Review customer accounts to identify outstanding balances and correct account discrepancies.
- Contact customers regarding past-due invoices and payment arrangements.
- Investigate and resolve billing, credit, and collection issues.
- Utilize effective collection strategies to secure timely payments.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Process refunds and apply account credits as needed.
- Review and release pending customer orders.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Professional and courteous phone presence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written communication, grammar, and attention to detail.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or related experience preferred.
