A summer camp in Deal, NJ is seeking a reliable, friendly, and energetic Traffic & Front Gate Coordinator to help ensure the safe and efficient operation of daily camp activities. This role serves as the first point of contact for campers, parents, staff, visitors, and vendors, helping maintain a welcoming and organized environment while supporting camp safety procedures.
The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive, and enjoys working with people in a fast-paced outdoor setting.
What You'll Do• Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering and exiting camp grounds
• Work alongside camp security personnel to help maintain a safe environment
• Notify camp administration of late arrivals, visitors, deliveries, or situations requiring attention
• Safely direct buses to designated drop-off and pick-up locations during arrival and dismissal times
• Monitor front gate activity and help ensure proper access procedures are followed
• Accept deliveries and ensure items are properly stored or delivered to the appropriate department
• Serve as a welcoming and professional presence for campers, parents, staff, and visitors
• Assist with general front gate operations and communication as needed
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient flow of daily camp activities
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
