We are seeking a dedicated Controller to lead our financial operations and oversee our accounting department for our medical supplies wholesale business. In this role, you will be responsible for the high level financial health of the company, ensuring accuracy in all reporting while supervising a talented team. You will play a critical part in our growth by providing the financial oversight and strategic insights necessary to navigate the wholesale industry.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise and mentor the accounting team, managing daily workflows and professional development.
Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.
Manage inventory accounting and valuation to ensure accurate financial reporting for our warehouse.
Prepare and present timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor company cash flow and develop financial forecasts to support executive leadership.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and manage the year end audit process.
Establish and maintain internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP.
Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting leadership role.
Background in wholesale, distribution, or a related industry is highly preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate an accounting staff.
Advanced knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
Deep understanding of financial regulations and GAAP standards.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
CPA or CMA certification is a significant plus.
