Description
A New York–based apparel company is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to drive growth within its men’s outerwear and workwear categories. This is a high-impact, non-entry-level role for a proven salesperson who can generate new business while expanding existing retail accounts.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and takes full ownership of the sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing deals.
What You’ll Do
• Own and grow key retail accounts while developing new business opportunities
• Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing
• Present seasonal product lines and respond to in-season opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and retail partners
• Analyze pricing, margins, and sales performance to drive profitability
• Manage multiple seasons and product timelines simultaneously
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product execution and delivery
Requirements
• Proven sales experience in apparel or retail required
• Experience in men’s outerwear or workwear strongly preferred
• Existing relationships with retail buyers is a major plus
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Excel or sales-related systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
