Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Production and Sourcing Manager to lead and oversee wholesale production, sourcing operations, and logistics for our overseas manufacturing facilities. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and leadership abilities to ensure efficient production processes, high-quality standards, and effective supply chain management. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in wholesale home and outdoor hard goods categories. The position is cross-functional, working closely with R&D and Sales to ensure seamless business execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of overseas manufacturing facilities, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage and optimize supply chain and logistics processes, including procurement, transportation, inventory management, and distribution to ensure timely product delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed company and regulatory standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance production and logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity through targeted process improvements.
- Sales Collaboration: Partner with the Sales team to ensure all open orders are completed and shipped on time.
- ERP Management: Manage and maintain the company's ERP system, ensuring accurate data entry, system integrity, and effective utilization across production and logistics operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, logistics metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in production and sourcing management, preferably within an overseas or global manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience in home and outdoor hard goods categories.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and procurement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize ERP systems.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working alongside R&D and Sales teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of driving process improvements.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
