About the Company
We are building an AI-native heavy equipment rental business on the East Coast. By combining an established operating rental business with a proprietary technology platform focused on fleet optimization, predictive maintenance, dynamic pricing, and data-driven customer acquisition, we are scaling toward a multi-location regional network.
The Role
We are seeking a Head of Sales to build and lead our B2B sales organization targeting contractors, builders, developers, and construction firms across the East Coast. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building the sales function, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving revenue growth as the company scales.
The ideal candidate is a strategic leader and hands-on operator with a proven ability to build teams, develop sales processes, and drive meaningful business growth.
What You'll Do
- Build, hire, train, and lead a high-performing sales and account management organization
- Develop and execute the company's sales strategy across existing and new markets
- Create and manage enterprise sales pipelines, regional partnerships, and contractor loyalty programs
- Own revenue targets and sales performance across all business locations
- Leverage proprietary data and analytics tools to drive highly targeted outbound sales initiatives
- Establish sales processes, performance metrics, forecasting models, and reporting systems
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, construction firms, developers, and strategic partners
- Collaborate with executive leadership on market expansion, pricing strategies, and growth initiatives
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth
What You Bring
- 8+ years of B2B sales leadership experience, preferably within equipment rental, construction, industrial services, or related industries
- Demonstrated success building, scaling, and managing high-performing sales teams
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong network and relationships within construction, contractor, or industrial markets
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and business development skills
- Experience implementing sales processes, CRM systems, and performance management frameworks
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Experience working for a national equipment rental or industrial services organization is highly preferred
