Position Overview
An established company expanding into the beauty category is seeking an experienced and well-connected Beauty Sales Professional to play a key role in launching and growing a new beauty division.
This is an opportunity for a proven sales professional who understands the beauty market, has established relationships with off-price retail buyers, and can help build a new division from the ground up.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record in beauty sales and is comfortable opening doors, developing accounts, and turning buyer relationships into long-term business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow sales for a newly established beauty division.
Leverage existing relationships with off-price retailers and retail buyers.
Prospect and open new wholesale accounts.
Develop relationships with buyers and key decision-makers.
Present products and opportunities across cosmetics, skincare, beauty accessories, haircare, and related categories.
Manage the sales process from initial outreach through negotiation, order placement, and follow-up.
Identify new customers, channels, and opportunities for growth.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective accounts.
Develop repeat business with new and existing customers.
Work closely with leadership to develop the division's sales strategy.
Provide insight into buyer demand, market trends, pricing, and competitive activity.
Attend buyer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
Meet and exceed established sales and revenue goals.
Qualifications
Previous beauty industry sales experience required.
Established buyer relationships, particularly within the off-price retail channel, required.
Experience selling cosmetics, skincare, haircare, beauty accessories, or related beauty products strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of the beauty and retail landscape.
Proven ability to open new accounts and develop new business.
Strong wholesale sales and account management skills.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to take ownership of new opportunities.
Comfortable helping build a new business division from its early stages.
