We are seeking a reliable, high-energy Pizza Counterperson to join our team in Monmouth County. As the primary face of our pizzeria, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our local community. Whether customer order a quick slice on the go or sit down for a full pasta dinner, you will ensure every guest leaves happy.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet walk-in guests with a welcoming attitude and take phone orders accurately using our point-of-sale system.
Manage the slice display counter, selected slice selection, and reheat slices to perfection in the deck oven.
Serve plated foods including hot heroes, pasta dishes, appetizers, and salads with attention to presentation and temperature.
Pack takeout orders, ensuring all sauces, utensils, and extras are included before handoff or delivery dispatch.
Maintain a clean and organized counter area, dining section, condiment station, and glass display cases.
Handle cash and credit transactions, manage the register balance, and process tips accurately.
Restock paper goods, beverage coolers, and box supplies throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a pizzeria, deli, or fast-casual food setting is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for register handling and transaction accuracy.
Dependable transportation within Monmouth County and a strong work ethic.
