• Monday – Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Compensation: Starting at $25.00 per hour, with opportunities for additional performance-based incentive pay.
Position Summary
A well-established kosher butcher shop in Brooklyn is seeking a friendly, energetic, Shomer Shabbat individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Associate. This is more than a customer service position—we're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in creating an exceptional shopping experience, and wants to become a trusted face of our business.
As the first person customers see when they walk through our doors, you'll create a warm, welcoming atmosphere while assisting customers with product selection and ensuring they receive outstanding service. You'll also have the opportunity to learn about premium meats, specialty products, and the craftsmanship that makes a traditional neighborhood butcher shop unique.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Build lasting relationships by providing exceptional, personalized customer service.
• Assist customers with product selection and answer questions about our meat, poultry, and specialty offerings.
• Introduce customers to new products, seasonal specialties, and featured items.
• Maintain an attractive, clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor.
• Restock displays and monitor inventory levels throughout the day.
• Communicate customer feedback, product requests, and shopping trends to management.
• Help identify products and flavors that appeal to the diverse communities we serve.
• Support the butcher team with daily store operations as needed.
• Represent our business professionally within the local community and help create a shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.

Qualifications

• Shomer Shabbat.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for customer service.
• Food service, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Interest in learning about premium meats and specialty food products.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.
