A caring and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) is needed to provide individualized support to participants in an Adult Day Habilitation Program. This role focuses on helping individuals with developmental disabilities engage in meaningful daily activities, achieve personal goals, and participate successfully in community-based experiences.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, patient, and committed to promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities Individual Support• Provide direct support to individuals participating in the Adult Day Habilitation Program
• Assist participants with daily activities and program engagement
• Encourage independence while providing appropriate supervision and guidance
• Support individuals in achieving personal and program-related goals
• Accompany participants on community outings and recreational activities
• Promote community inclusion and social interaction
• Assist with transportation and mobility needs as required
• Ensure participant safety during all community-based activities
• Encourage participation in educational, recreational, and life-skills activities
• Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive environment
• Maintain professional and positive relationships with participants, families, and staff
• Observe and report any concerns regarding participant well-being or progress
• Maintain accurate documentation as required by program guidelines
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding participant needs and progress
• Follow all agency policies, procedures, and safety protocols

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional, Habilitation Specialist, Caregiver, or related role
• Familiarity with community-based programming and person-centered support practices
