Position Summary
The Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing EVV operations, with a focus on call monitoring, compliance, and pre-billing accuracy. This role ensures caregivers properly utilize EVV tools, addresses exceptions in real time, and supports payroll and billing processes. The EVV Coordinator also plays a key role in caregiver education by providing training and support for EVV applications and FOB devices.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the EVV Call Dashboard, including call maintenance, missed clock-ins and clock-outs, and real-time issue resolution.
Review and resolve EVV-related discrepancies to ensure accurate pre-billing and timesheet processing.
Verify compliance with Plans of Care (POC), including completion of required duties and care goals.
Identify and resolve overlapping shifts, scheduling conflicts, and attendance issues.
Monitor caregiver use of EVV applications to ensure accurate and compliant visit documentation.
Enforce EVV compliance standards and follow up on non-compliance as appropriate.
Assist with caregiver onboarding, orientations, and in-service training by providing EVV app setup, education, and troubleshooting.
Monitor and support the proper use of FOB devices, ensuring functionality and compliance.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to EVV activities.
Collaborate with payroll, billing, scheduling, and clinical teams to resolve visit verification issues.
Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; some college coursework or business education preferred.
Previous experience with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), home care, healthcare administration, scheduling, or a related field is preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn healthcare software systems.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate schedules, documentation, and records.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound judgment in handling routine operational issues.
