- Help with the development stages of products - including design and trends.
- Meet with buyers during sales meetings and take notes on all comments they are giving.
- Maintain an accurate record of all styles/orders organized and track shipping as well.
- Comment on all samples the factory is sending making sure all styles coordinate and tell a story.
- Must have a good sense of details/colors and good communication skills to comment to the factory on all changes needed.
- Help with setting up customer quote sheets /Purchase order detail sheets needed to place orders.
- Work with customers on all revisions needed.
COMPETENCIES
- Experience with TJX and other discounted retailers 2+ years’ experience in wholesale sales or industry-related experience
- Comfortable making phone sales & have strong negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Strong listening, written, and oral communication skills-Self-motivated and highly organized.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment.
