Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Location: Midtown NYC
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (short Friday)
Salary: $20/hour

We are a growing wholesale company seeking a detail-oriented and reliable receptionist to join our team in an administrative capacity. This role is essential being the front face of our office, ensuring accurate and timely entry of orders, invoices, and inventory information, while providing vital administrative support to keep our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter and update data accurately into company systems, including orders, invoices, and inventory.

  • Manage the reception area, greeting visitors and handling incoming phone calls and inquiries.

  • Maintain and organize digital and physical records.

  • Verify accuracy of information before entry and cross-check data for errors.

  • Assist with preparing reports and tracking shipments.

  • Provide administrative support to the operations and accounting teams as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.

Qualifications:
  • Previous data entry, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic computer skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills for handling administrative tasks.

  • Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
